They have short range, and incredibly low damage. This means that support abilties have to be really strong to make them worth not attacking, which they often arn't.ģ. To many of the abilties end your turn when used, even if they only take 1 action point. Even then you could always just get the mount without the hero.Ģ.
It's not until mid late game, with advance piloting that mounts are that helpfull, since you start getting 5 or 6 base armor, with a strong weapon. They at most get a slight armor increase. There damage isn't better than normal hero weapons, and if anything can be worse. Heroes have high base HP, higher than their mounts.

Great, I like it, but I think that could be maintained by allowing heroes to cast unit and combat spells normally, even out of combat, but ban them from casting global spells, which would be reserved exclusively for your wizard.After putting some time into this game I feel there are some balance issues I have noticed. I know the main emphasis is supposed to be with your wizard. out of combat, while your wizard is casting mighty spells like Bone Dragon or something. I would very much like to see my heroes be able to cast basic stuff like Enchant Weapon, Healing, Dark Gift etc. Your heroes can cast any unit buff spell *in combat only*, and they act normally. Ditto with the Healing or Repair Machine abilities. It really irritates me that if the combat ends and I forgot to use my hero's Spellcasting ability to cast, oh, for example Healing, I cannot do it anymore. You can use Healing, Repair Machine (heard it crashes, though), and Spellcasting as usual in combat, but not outside of it. I wrote a post on this on Thursday, but nobody bothered to respond.
